Professor Limon
is truly a remarkable person. His passion for this art
is evidenced
by each precise motion he demonstrates, and every comment
he expresses to his students.
Professor Limon is a martial artist who believes in respect, loyalty, and foundation.
He is one of the few instructors
who teaches with your personal strengths in mind.
His emphasis on "BASICS" and "NO WASTED MOTION"
can be found unmistakably any time you look at our students,
either at a regular practice or at a tournament.
Professor Limon began his Kajukenbo
training in early 1975
under the
direction of
Grand Master Doug Bunda.
He has also practiced Chinese Kung Fu for many years
under
Sifu James Ibrao.
Professor Limon was a very well known
and accomplished fighter
in the tournament sparring
circuit in the 1980's. He is a fifth generation
Black Belt in our Kajukenbo
system, and currently holds the rank of
8th Degree Black Belt.
Professor Limon has been teaching
since 1978, and 35 students
have been promoted to black
belt. It is Sifu's FIRM belief that
respect and honor
need
to be EARNED, not given... |
